Land Use and Development Committee Meeting

The Land Use and Development Committee endeavors to implement the development guidelines established in the
Broad Ripple Village Plan (adopted by the Department of Metropolitan Development in November 2012) and submits recommendations to the BRVA board and Department of Metropolitan Development regarding zoning and planning issues and local and state boards and commissions regarding the issuance of alcoholic beverage permits.


I. Call to order and explanation of LU&DC's position on requests (6:00 p.m.)

II. Introductions of committee members and guests (6:00-6:05 p.m.)

III. Petitioner Presentations

A. 1428-1430 Broad Ripple Avenue, Sam Zinkan & Joe Zinkan - Developers, Garrett Lawton - Advisor, David Toth - Architect, regarding rezoning from C-3 to D-P for mixed use with first floor retail and multi-family units above. (6:05-6:25 p.m.) 

B. 6357 & 6371 Guilford Avenue, David and Justin Kingen representing Chris Short an Tom English requesting a rezoning the property from C-4 to MU-2. Hearing before the Metropolitan Development Hearing Examiner has been continued to June 15 without notice, at 10:00 a.m.  (6:25-6:40 p.m.)
