Land Use and Development Committee Meeting

The Land Use and Development Committee endeavors to implement the development guidelines established in the
Broad Ripple Village Plan (adopted by the Department of Metropolitan Development in November 2012) and submits recommendations to the BRVA board and Department of Metropolitan Development regarding zoning and planning issues and local and state boards and commissions regarding the issuance of alcoholic beverage permits.

III. Approval of the previous minutes (6:05-6:10 p.m.) 
 
IV. Presentations 
  • 845 E. 65th St., Kayak Pools - Schyler Sullivan and David Kingen with Neighborhood/Downtown Zoning Assistance, Inc. requesting a vote to support their Variance of Development Standards petition regarding setbacks, parking, landscaping and bike stalls. (6:10-6:30 p.m.)
  • 6572 Cornell Ave., The Sapling School - Joe Calderon representing KMK Cornell, LLC requesting a vote to support their petition to rezone the property from D-4 to MU-2, in order to initially use the property as a preschool, and their petition for Variance of Development Standards, to legally establish the location of the existing improvements as part of the rezoning development. Case #2021-CZN/CVR-812 (6:50-7:10 p.m.)
  • RiverWalk project - Tom Healy from the Broad Ripple RiverWalk Task Force with an update on this project. (7:10-7:30 p.m.)
